About Rory and Mondii
A gardener in Clophill, Bedfordshire, taking on garden jobs, small or large, across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
Mondii is Rory's business: when you get in touch, you deal with him from the first photo to the final tidy-up.
He has taken on gardens at every stage, from overgrown plots that needed taking back to the bones to borders that just needed bringing back to life. He likes larger gardens best, and the work of shaping them around the people who use them: digging out tired beds, putting in vegetable plots, and turning a picture of how a garden could look into the real thing.
How Rory works
Every job starts with photos. Most can be quoted from a few pictures or a short video on WhatsApp; bigger jobs, or ones further away, get a site visit first. The price is agreed in writing before any work begins, and you pay once the job is done.
For planting and bigger changes, Rory can send you images of how your garden could look before a spade goes in. Planting is chosen to look good in summer and to keep its shape through winter.
He works with hand tools and precision first, and brings in machines only when the job really needs them.

Set-up and planting
Beds cleared and fed, new planting in, and lawns given their first cut and edged.
Colour and upkeep
Regular visits keep lawns mown, edges crisp, hedges trimmed and borders weeded and tidy.
Tidy and cut back
Perennials cut back, leaves cleared, hedges given their last trim, and the garden made ready for winter.
Structure
Hedges and evergreens hold the garden's shape. A good time to plan next year's planting.

A written quote
The price and start date are agreed before work begins, with a risk assessment for every job.
Fully insured
£1 million public liability insurance with Allianz. Your garden is left clean and tidy when the work is finished.
Pay on completion
You're sent photos when the job is finished, and you're invoiced once it's done.
Where Rory works
Mondii is based in Clophill, Bedfordshire. Regular visits cover about 30 miles from Clophill, including Ampthill, Flitwick, Silsoe, Shefford, Harpenden, St Albans and Hitchin. Bigger jobs of two days or more can go further, across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and neighbouring counties.
