Who we are
Mondii is a gardening and garden maintenance business based in Clophill, Bedfordshire. We are responsible for the personal information you give us (the "controller" under UK data protection law).
Mondii is the trading name of Mondii Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17462164. Registered office: 7 Hawthorn Way, Bedford MK45 4DE.

What we collect
- When you message or call us, for example on WhatsApp: your number, your messages and any photos or videos you send of your garden.
- If you become a customer: your address, the work agreed, quotes, invoices and payment records.
- When you use this website: our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) for security. If we add analytics, it will only collect how you found the site and which pages you visit, and only if you agree.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange a visit. We do this because you've asked us to, before any agreement.
- To carry out and invoice the work you agree to. This is needed for our agreement with you.
- To keep business and tax records, which the law requires.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, only with your consent.
We don't sell your information, and we won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with services that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us there.
- Google Analytics, for website statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Our accountant, for invoices and tax records.
Some of these companies may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer records, quotes and invoices: 6 years, as required for tax.
- Photos of your garden: for as long as we need them for your job, unless you agree we can show them as examples of our work.
Cookies
This website doesn't currently use any tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, it will only run if you agree to it, and you can change your mind at any time. The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme; that's stored on your own device and isn't shared. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so loading a page doesn't share your details with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information, where we don't need to keep it by law
- stop or limit how we use it
- withdraw your consent, for example to analytics cookies
Contact us using the details above and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
